        Hey！ I will definitely do some videos about different habits and cultures in China verses my home in America. However, if what your looking for is something bashing china for being different and not expecting the same set of manners then you probably won't find that on this channel. The purpose of me sharing my life in china is to help people see things from different points of view and learn to look at the positive side, or at least understand and respect each other for their differences. In no way do I intend to hate on another person because they spit on the street and I would never do that. In fact, there's a lot of habits and parts of the culture here in China that I've come to fall in love with that would never be accepted as polite or beautiful or kind in America. I want this channel to invite positivity and willing to understand. I don't expect everyone to agree with all of my views, nor with the habits or ideas of a different culture. But I do hope that I can help others learn to love and respect different cultures even if they don't agree. 

        嘿，我肯定会拍视频讲讲中国和我家乡美国的习惯和文化差异。然而，如果你想看的内容是攻击中国的差异，攻击他们没有想当然地接受同一套风格，那你可能找错地方了。我分享中国生活的目的是帮助人们从不同的角度看事情，学习积极的一面，或者至少互相理解尊重双方差异。我一点也不会因为在街上吐口水而讨厌一个人，决不。事实上，我爱上了很多在美国绝不会认为礼貌、美好或善良的中国文化习惯。我希望这个频道能够带来积极与愿意去理解。我不指望每个人都认同我的全部看法，或者不同文化的习惯与想法。但我希望我能帮助别人学会去爱并尊重不同文化，哪怕不认同。

        I appreciate hearing different points of views and opinions, but I don't appreciate using language or sentence structures that leave people feeling hurt or hated. If you have something to say, I would encourage you to speak. On the same note, I would really encourage you to watch the way you say things. There are plenty of ways to talk about things that disgust you or that you hate without making other people feel like you hate them. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. 

        我很感激能听到不同的看法和观点，但我不赞同使用那些令人感到伤害或恨意的语言和句子。如果你有话要说，我会鼓励你说。同时，我真心地建议你注意一下自己说话的方式。有很多方式可以叙述那些令你恶心或是你厌恶的事情，而又不会让别人觉得你讨厌他们。我希望你能明白我是哪里人。

        Haley is such a well-educated and fine young lady. Sadly, I've almost never seen anyone convinced on the Internet by different opinions. Just a few words cannot really change a person's mindset forged in his or her decades of growing up. Still though, I'm happy to see that most people still harbor hope for better life and do not let their expectations for life be affected by the negative people and things around them.

        FoodforThought actually I don't. When I first came lots of Chinese culture is surprising. But actually. There's a lot of parts that I like. I've taken really well to the spitting and stuff. (Sometimes I catch myself spitting too. But I try to make sure it's outside or in a garbage can) It's practical sometimes. It's not always mannerly. But hey, we can't be perfect all the time.

If you read replies from Winston (serpentZA) in the comment section of his new video "why all Chinese drive badly". You will understand why Winston is not only a pure anti-China hater, but an anti-Chinese racist .   Go to read his ugly replies for getting some sense of his ugly soul .

  For few example :
-- Someone hater said "Why is that the American born Chinese can't drive either? Winston replied "lol racial bonus".
-- Someone hater said "why do Chinese need to build the sidewalks if it a pure chaos?"  Winston replied "haha, it's for blinded people only".
-- Some hater said " why are Chinese all shitholes" ?  Winston replied "Well.. I don't know, but I agree with your observation" .

Who doesn't like a pretty girl who like squatty potties? sub'ed. I heard some many complaints about squatty potties in China. You are the first claiming actually like it, and with good reasons too. Not to mention that you can actually do it. Some say Americans (well, Americans of  European heritage anyway) are even not capable of squatting. Happy Thanksgiving!

        Petech Inc haha that's so funny. Yeah I've only heard like one other person who said they've liked it. But he still wasn't sold on them like I was. Haha it's funny because when I visit home in America I really miss the squatty potties.

It sucks to not have heating. My first apartment in Houston (back in the early 90s) had no heating and it was a constant battle to stay warm in the winter, and Changsha is much colder than Houston. I used burners with open flames to heat the room and was in constant fear of fires and CO poisoning. Electric heater tripped the old wiring in that house when other major appliances kicked in. Don't know your lease terms but I would call the landlord and convince them they need to install heating system. Winter is bearly starting and winter in Changsha is long, damp, and subfreezing, and just getting started.

没有暖气很难受。我在休斯顿的第一间公寓（90年代初）没有暖气，冬天保暖就是长久战，而长沙比休斯顿冷得多。我使用明火暖炉来加热房间，整天怕引起火灾和一氧化碳中毒。当其它主要电器开启时，电暖器就令那间房里的老旧线路跳闸了。我不知道你的租房条款怎么样，但我会打电话给房东说服他安装供暖系统。冬天才开始，长沙的冬天很长，很潮湿，很冰冷，而且才刚刚开始。

        ZZZ1368 I have one on the wall but it's not the same as what kind of heating my family has at home. And the heater is only in my bedroom. Not in my kitchen or living room. So it's pretty cold in those rooms.

Happy Thanksgiving!  You reminded me of a story from Alaska.  A lady friend told me that in the winter the outdoor toilets seats will grow thick pointy frost.  She used some kind of foam to fix the problem.  Maybe China has the better answer.  I'm glad you made the best of Thanksgiving and shared it.
