If you wonder what kind of hotel would be popular with wealthy businessmen from China then take a look at this eye-catching skyscraper called 'Golden Nugget Hotel' which is encased in golden windows from tip to toe.

A set of drone pictures has emerged showing the 200 metres tall (656 ft) hotel beaming in a golden-yellow hue under the sun.

一组由无人机拍摄的照片显示这座200米（656英尺）高的酒店在阳光下呈现出黄金般的亮泽。

The 46-storey hotel situated in eastern China's Jiangsu Province has caught the attention of the locals and web users has nicknamed it 'a giant gold bar'.

这家位于中国东部江苏省的46层酒店引起了当地居民们的注意，网友们戏称该酒店为“一个大金条。”





The building known as Zhongyang Gold Nugget Hotel was owed by Zhongyang Group a real estate investment company and built in October 18 2013. 

建成于2013年10月18日名为中洋金砖酒店的该建筑隶属于中洋集团——一家房地产投资公司。

Built over an area of 1.3 million square foot a size of roughly 20 football pitches the hotel stands as a new landmark in the local area according to China News.

据《中国新闻》报道，该酒店占地130万平方英尺，建筑面积大小相当于20个足球场，该酒店成为当地的一个新地标。

Guests can enter the hotel through the main grand entrance; or to some other wealthy guests they can get into the building from the top where helicopters can stop on at.

The Gold Nugget Hotel does not only offer 379 rooms to the guests it also hosts over six restaurants and several exhibition halls.

The hotel's biggest hall can hold 1400 guests for wedding banquets.

Zhongyang Group has spent over 1.5 billion yuan (￡170 million) in building the Gold Nugget Hotel however no report shows the building materials contained any gold.

Despite the stand-out golden colour local residents found the icon 'hideous' and 'cheap'. They refer the hotel's golden colour as a 'newly rich' gold hotel.
